HOW DO I END MY TRIP?
End your trip by parking the ekar in one of the designated parking areas that are free for ekar users.
Select the ‘end trip’ option in the ekar app and return the key to the glove box or cup holder before you exit the vehicle.
Enter the parking details through the app while ending the trip or send an email at email@example.com and lock the car through the app. Remember to take all your belongings.
Before you end your trip, check the fuel gauge to make sure that there is at least 1/4 fuel in the tank for the next user. The fuel percentage shown on the app is only for reference purposes and the user should check the fuel gauge. You can refuel for free at our partner petrol stations: EPPCO and ENOC (Dubai) or ADNOC (Abu Dhabi and Sharjah). If you’re running low, drive to one of our partner petrol stations and use the ekar fuel card to pay.
For ekar X users, e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org with the pictures of the odometer and fuel gauge reading before and after your trip. Please ensure that the fuel at the same level that you received before you end your trip as the fuel is not free unlike the per minute or flexi cars.
You are responsible for parking fees during your trip. Send us the parking details either through the app or by email at email@example.com and lock the car through the app at the end of your trip.
WHAT DO I DO IF I AM UNABLE TO END MY TRIP AS PER THE BOOKING PERIOD?
If you are unable to end your trip, please call us at 600 567564 for assistance. In case your trip did not end on time, it will extend automatically, and additional rental charges will apply.
WHY IS MY BOOKING STILL ACTIVE?
If the trip did not end from the app, the booking remains active. The rental will continue to be charged unless the booking is ended.
