HOW DO I BOOK AN EKAR?
To book an ekar, open the app and check the map for ekars available near you.
Select the ekar with the rate of your choice, and click ‘book now’.
You have 30 minutes from the time you booked to reach your ekar to unlock it and start your trip.
HOW DO I KNOW IF A CAR IS AVAILABLE?
Use our app to locate available ekar vehicles (unavailable and booked cars will not show up on the app).
HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO GET TO MY EKAR AFTER BOOKING?
You have 30 minutes to reach the car upon booking. Once unlocked, you have your Pay Per Minute ekar for up to 24 hours maximum until you choose to 'end my trip' through the app. In case if the booking is extended, a delayed penalty will be applicable.
For ekar X and Flexi ekars, you have the car for the duration that you chose until you select 'end my trip' through the app.
CAN I CANCEL MY BOOKING AND IS THERE A CHARGE FOR CANCELLING?
Yes, you can cancel the trip and there is no fee for cancellation for the first time. However, there will be a cancellation fee for subsequent cancellations. This is not applicable for long-term prepaid bookings.
CAN I TINT THE VEHICLE RENTED FROM EKAR?
No, tinting or any other types or modifications are not permissible. In case of the vehicle is tinted, the user will be charged a penalty of AED 500 or removal cost of the tint + AED 100 Admin fee whichever is higher.
